Two children discover some strange toys in a box, after playing with these toys they have an ever increasing intelligence.
Their teacher and parents realize something strange is happening, they seem to have grown beyond genius.
Emma tells her mother that a toy rabbit, named Mimzy, teaches her things.
As a blackout shuts down the entire city and the source for the power surge seems to be to Emma's house,
everything is out of control. It seems that Mimzy contains a message from the future and a scan shows
that Mimzy is part organic and part electronics. Something strange is happening, but nobody knows exactly what.
This SF-Fantasy, based on the story by Lewis Padgett was released on March 23rd, 2007, filmed in Vancouver,
