Movie Info

On an annual fishing trip, Stewart and a few friends find a dead girl's body in the water late in the day. Instead of reporting the find, they spend the next day fishing. This decision is a little mystery to everybody in Jindabyne, their hometown. Their wives can't understand their behaviour. The men are a little confused, as the girl was already dead, there was nothing they could do to help her.

Claire, Stewart's wife is the last to know. As her husband refuses to talk about what has happened, she is unnerved. The whole thing disturbs her deeply. Since Stewart thinks that he has not done anything wrong, Claire's marriage is under pressure. Although public opinion builds against the men, Claire starts her own investigation.

This Thriller-Drama was released on April 27th, 2007, filmed in New South Wales, directed by Ray Lawrence and stars Gabriel Byrne, Deborra-Lee Furness, John Howard, Leah Purcell, Laura Linney.
